GOD'S PLAN FOR ETERNAL LIFE

Christians talk a lot about salvation or being "saved."   You might be wondering what does that mean?  Salvation, or being saved, simply means that your are rescued from enslavement to sin and it's punishment.  The simple definition of sin means you fall short of God's perfect moral standard.  The Bible, God's revelation to mankind, tells us that everyone is guilty of sin and explains that the wages, or the result of sin is death (Romans 3:23)This death not just a physical death.  God created humanity to be in a loving relationship with Him.  Spiritual death which is the result of sin is eternal separation from the loving God who created us and who desires to restore the relationship broken by sin.  This is why Jesus said, "you must be born again" (John 3:7). The good news is God loves you, (John 3:16) and has revealed in the Bible the means and method whereby you might be saved.  His plan for your salvation (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).

God has provided the gift of "new life" in Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23).  You can receive God's eternal life by recognizing that (1) you are a sinner, (2) believing that Jesus Christ died for your sins and was raised from the dead (Romans 10:9-10), and (3) by receiving Christ as your Savior through the prayer of faith (Romans 10:13).

It's as easy as ABC.

Admit  you are a sinner  "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved."  (Acts 16:31)
Confess. ". . . if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;" Ro 10:9-10 NASB

If you would like to receive Christ and be saved, we invite you to pray the following prayer:

Heavenly Father, I recognize that I am a sinner, and that you gave yourself on the cross as an atonement for my sin.  I repent of my sin.  I ask you to forgive me, to save and deliver me from the wages of sin according to your promise.  Transform me, by the indwelling presence of Your Holy Spirit that I might know and experience "new Life" in Christ.  I pray and ask this in Jesus Name.  Amen.

(This prayer is provided as an example only.  You can use it, or in your own words ask Christ to forgive and save you.  Remember this prayer does not save you only faith in Jesus can do that this is a means for you to express that faith to Him in prayer.)
